Double Take: On Luxury

Second issue of Double Take, Further Reading’s series of publications on creative writing and exploratory publishing. Thirteen essays, prose pieces and visual contributions around the theme of luxury: musings on the deeply personal nature of luxury and the meaning(s) we ascribe to it. Do you fancy fanciness? Do you find comfort in the mundane? Or is luxury something different altogether? Pieces range from post-print anxieties and the theatre of the dining table to the Korean luxury market, generational pessimism in designer clothes, and luxury as an irrational kind of freedom.
